What can you expect?

new patients

Welcome to Broadway Dental, offering Cosmetic Dentistry, Teeth Whitening, Sleep Dentistry, Smile Makeovers and Dental Implant Solutions. What you can expect?

Visiting the dentist is no longer about waiting in cold waiting rooms on uncomfortable chairs. It is now about comfort and care.

From the moment that you walk into our reception , you will be greeted with a warm smile and you will be offered a cool refreshment. We will kindly ask you to complete a brief medical health questionnaire. This information will be kept in the strictest of confidence. It allows us to provide you with the best dental care safely.

Our philosophy has always been to provide all patients with a proactive approach towards dentistry. By taking the initiative in educating patients to prevent treatment rather than waiting for problems to arise then reacting, we are able to provide you with high quality dental treatment at the forefront of modern dentistry.

Your initial visit will either involve:

  1. A comprehensive examination (check-up)or
  2. A consultation

If your would like to fill out your medical health questionnaire in the comfort of your own home, you can do so by clicking on the link in the sidebar.

A comprehensive examination (check-up)

new patients

This is a thorough assessment of your teeth, gums and oral tissues, ideally this should be carried out every 6 to 12 months to ensure early detection of any potential problems and thus keeping treatment costs to a minimum.

It involves oral hygiene instructions by our qualified staff, assessment of the gums, joints and soft tissues of the mouth. It also includes scaling and polishing , full examination or the teeth (including full mouth digital radiographs ) and topical fluoride application.

This visit gives us insight to your specific dental requirements and provides us with sufficient information to present you with precise treatment options in their correct order of priority. A detailed treatment plan and costings can be provided for your consideration.

At this stage you will be encouraged to ask questions and make educated decisions in your treatment direction. Alternatively your initial visit to us may be a consultation.

Consultation

You may approach our practice due to a specific dental concern or perhaps a second dental opinion. Digital radiographs are required in some instances to provide you with a correct diagnosis. You are then informed of your problem or concern, the ideal treatment required and options.(keeping in mind your vision and budget without compromising the quality of the treatment).

Sufficient time is allocated during a consultation to allow us to commence any required treatment on the day to provide immediate comfort. Our aim is to provide our patients with all the relevant information to allow for a clear and educated decision regarding their treatment.

If you have recently made an appointment with us , then we look forward to meeting you and we want to thank you for choosing us to provide your oral care.
