As seen on the 'TV program 10 Years Younger in 10 Days', dentist Dr Fadi Yassmin welcomes you to Broadway Dental. Early in 2009, Dr Yassmin starred in hit Channel 7 TV Show '10 Years Younger in 10 Days'.
'10 Years Younger in 10 Days' was a makeover program transforming couples who were either style-challenged or had simply let themselves go due to the constant juggling of work and family demands. With the help of the 10 Years Younger in 10 Days expert teams, the couples were looking and feeling 10 years younger in just 10 days.
In every episode, one husband and wife couple were given the chance to reclaim the years that got away; boosting self-esteem, restoring confidence and changing lives along the way and for many it is a turning point in their lives.
Dr Yassmin and the staff at Broadway Dental were one of these expert teams, transforming the couples smiles, with dazzling new smile makeovers using a variety of dental procedures. EPISODE 1 - ANETTE - Coal Miners wife yearning a touch of Hollywood glamour and a Demi Moore smile
Anette was unhappy with the dark stains and decay visible on her front teeth. A childhood accident left her front tooth chipped and crooked. She yearns for a straight bright white "Demi Moore" smile.
Treatment provided
- - Photos and Radiographic records
- - Photos and radiographic records were taken to allow accurate assessment of the existing dentition (development and arrangement of teeth in her mouth)and to give Anette a visual view of the treatment needed.
- - Preventative care (Dental prophylaxis)
- - Deep scaling and polishing to remove the buildup of heavy plaque (also known as calculus and tartar) and staining on Anette's teeth, helping prevent cavities and gum disease
- - Oral hygiene routine
- - Cariscreen and caries free rinse program. Custom trays of GC tooth mousse were created for home use, which will help prevent tooth decay (that can lead to cavities, pain, tooth loss and infection) and minimise intrinsic staining (white specs on teeth).
- - White fillings
- - To rejuvenate his teeth, broken amalgam fillings were replaced with white fillings for a more natural, comfortable smile.
- - Aesthetic Recontouring
- - Reshaping the teeth by adding white filling material and gently disking teeth.
- - Teeth whitening
- - BriteSmile whitening system was used to whiten Anette's teeth. Custom trays were also made to give Anette a whitening maintenance program to help sustain her whiter smile.
