Alicia is an integral part of our preventive dental care for our patients. Her clinical role focuses on diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive therapies, all designed to maximise your oral health and control the occurrence of oral diseases.
With her extensive experience with orthodontic treatments, particularly the advanced Invisalign system, Alicia provides the very best information and advice for our patients.
An important way Alicia improves our patients’ oral health is through the treatment of gum disease. Gum disease is a common dental health problem that, if left untreated, can cause tooth loss and other severe irreversible dental conditions.
To help combat this condition, Alicia can perform a special procedure called deep scaling and root planing. This treatment helps to remove the build-up of bacteria deep in the pockets of your gums that causes gum disease.
When found and treated in time, the progression of gum disease can be halted and reversed. That’s why regular checkups with Alicia Pattey and all the Broadway Dental team are so important.
